The Output Style Preview Utility provides you with an easy way to see how an output style is formatted. You can use your records (or our sample data) to view how the bibliography entry, the in-text citation, the footnotes (if applicable) and the endnotes (if applicable) would appear.
To use the Output Style Preview Utility:
1. Select Tools from the menu bar.
2. Select Preview Output Style.
3. Select an output style from the drop-down.
4. Samples of each reference type will be displayed with RefWorks sample data. Check the box if you choose to display examples with your own data.
Note: only the examples of the reference types in your database will be displayed. For more complete examples, use the RefWorks sample data.
